Congratulations to our Young Engineering Team who won the Innovation Award for their fantastic & creative environmental design presentation at the Midlands Regional First Lego League Finals. Their ideas were so impressive that they were advised by one judge to consider pursuing a patent & investment into the project for production. The team is made of pupils and former pupils who return to the school to engage in the First Lego League Challenge Club. Last year the team won the Design Award for their robot design. We have a number of children who are passionate about engineering. The school have had success in Engineering Challenges at regional & national level for many years and have been supported by Williams Formula 1 Team (Race to Learn Challenge) & Rolls Royce.
